A very excellent Salvadoran restaurant with some Mexican picks on the menu as well. Service was warm and professional. Food was delicious and affordable. Comfortable atmosphere to eat in. I saw the owner comitt a good deed, a homeless man came in begging and she gave him a free meal.

I've never had Salvadoran food, and I loved it! The pupusa was delicious. I definitely have to come back.

Go to Resto Los Planes for all your pupusa needs - you will not be disappointed!! Had lunch there for the first time today and it was so good. Plantains with creme and refried beans were perfect, I haven't had such good (delicious and not mushy/greasy) plantains in years. My husband and I shared 2 trios for lunch: plantains, pupusas, and an enchilada, and shared a horchata. All the pupusas were really excellent and well-stuffed and the salsa, hot sauce, and pickled slaw on the side were great too. The price was right at 40 for everything which is barely more than I paid for a single bowl of ramen in the Plateau yesterday. We had a churro for dessert which had a tasty dulce de leche filling. It is the second best churro I've had in Montreal because Che Churro is the best for the slightly heated crispy exterior and the optimal pastry to filling ratio. Would def go back to Los Planes.
